I knew Vivian as a boxer and a motorbike man in the early 90’s. He was a very generous man, he was a kind man and a funny man who always had time for you. My sincere and heartfelt condolences to Breda, Christian, Sadhbh, Elliott, Roan and the extended family and friends. RIP.

Sincere condolences to Viv’s wife and children and extended family. I came across this news by complete accident and am shocked and saddened. I had not spoken to him in over 30 years. I lived with Viv (he had us call him that and never Vivian) in Waterford many years ago, c 1992/3 where we both went to college and have very fond memories of the fun and being on the back of his Honda 125. Being an Irish champion boxer, I remember him nearly breaking my shoulder just messing around having a laugh.
I knew he was in Newbridge and often meant to call in to JRB ‘s and its now a huge regret I never managed to do so. He was a real gent back then and I’m sure he only improved with age. Hoping his family get the strength and support to overcome this enormous loss. Rest in Peace Viv.
