Deepest sympathy to the Cobbe family on the death of Vincent - a gentleman. Many years ago my late uncle - Michael Moloney,Pennywell,Limerick - was a patient in St Vincent's Hospital. A nurse was chatting about many topics including hurling. She asked Uncle Michael who was the best forward he saw playing. Reply "a Limerick hurler named Vincent Cobbe". Thank you replied the nurse - He's my Dad. It took an exceptional forward to recognise another class act.
