Sincere sympathy Lorraine and Colin from all the O'Dohertys on the passing of your lovely Mum, she was a true lady, always smiling. She lived a long time, now may she rest in peace. Everyone in Dale Road, around the circle knew her very well, she will be missed a lot. I will watch her funeral service here in Australia.

Had the pleasure of knowing Vivian in her later years. A wonderful lady. She will be missed by all who knew her. Lorraine, i am in awe of you. You made absolutely sure that Vivian had everything she needed, yourself and Aisling are amazing. Your lovely memories will keep you smiling forever. Sympathy to all of her extended family.

Vivian and I first crossed paths 16 years ago when I started working part-time in Jeeves. She trained me up to her excellent standards of customer service and her no-nonsense attitude. We worked the Thursday evening shift and on those quiet evenings an unlikely friendship developed. I heard all about Jack (who had passed away the year I was born) and Lorraine and Colin and Aisling, Derek and Audrey. I really valued Vivian’s advice and friendship throughout the years, she taught me some things I’ll never forget, such as to keep my female friends close as I move through life. And to get my driving licence…still working on that one Vivian, sorry! She was a true lady and was so proud of her family. I’m
grateful for all the lovely little tea and scones afternoons and mornings we had. Lots of love, Ciara

Many fond memories of Vivian but especially of being included in the 1970’s caravan stays at The Meeting of the Waters , Ennereilly and Clogga. These were the halcyon days that
cemented my lifelong friendship with Lorraine.

End of an era. Viv lived the life. She loved her family and the fun, gaiety, jokes, social scenes,... we look back at videos of picnics, waterskiing, chistmas traditions, holidays, gorgeous frocks, and in later years christmases of hot whiskeys, stories, laughter, and an insight into the incredible humour of the older generation. Oh they knew how to have fun.
Viv, we miss you, and thank you for the wonderful times we had.
