So saddened to hear of Viv’s passing. We played trumpet in the IYO together and she was a very skilled player, always very helpful and a great laugh too. Sincere condolences to her friends and family.

Very sad to hear this today. I have so many good memories of Vivienne from school and IYO but sadly lost touch with her. She was an amazing musician and fantastic company then, and it’s clear from other tributes here that she stayed that way and made the world a better place. Sincere condolences to family and friends.

I am so sorry to hear about this. Although I have not seen Viv in MANY years, I have very happy memories of our school days in Sullivan. She was always the star of the Spring Concert.

Tragic that Viv has been taken from us far too young. Some of my earliest (and best) musical memories are from sitting next to Viv in the IYO, loving her playing and laughter in equal measure.

As a one-time student, I would be but a line in an appendix in the story of Viv's life. In mine, and so many others, she will always be a defining character in how we identify ourselves. Music has an amazing power to leave lasting impressions. As a musician and a teacher, she certainly did that.
