Sincerest sympathies to Wally's close friends and family on his passing. He was such a true gentleman and so nice to meet and chat to. He looked after Jean so well before her passing. It was a privilege to have known him for a short time when I worked in Cashel. May he rest in peace after such a long and interesting life 🙏

So sorry to hear that Wal passed away. He was such a lovely person. We met Wal and Jean through our love of dogs many years ago and he was Chairman for our club the Cardigan Welsh Corgi Society until last year. We had some lovely times together and he always gave us some of his homemade jams. My daughter recalls tasting some of Wal and Jean’s homemade Sloe Gin in the house in Clonoulty( the first time she ever tasted it) Both Wal and Jean lived such a full and interesting life and told us of their many escapades. He will be sadly missed by Katie, Mark and myself
