In the middle of the night while keeping the lights on and not knowing about his death, with one of my colleague and I ((ex-ESBi/EirGrid) were remembering our time in Ireland and we have remembered Walter Bourgoin also. Walter remains in our memory forever!

I worked with Walter as part of a Siemens Energy. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Walter was always the positive spirit during some of the trying conferences as we achieved our desired results.

Sorry to hear about Walter’s passing. Walter was my team leader in ESBI when I joined as a graduate. He was the one who fetched me from reception on my first day and introduced me to the team. He was extremely well thought of by all and always had time & patience to handhold the newer members of the team until they were able to work on their own. I sat beside Walter for my first year. I never met his family, but he spoke fondly of them, so my condolences to Martina and the children.
