I worked in Firhouse CRC for a long time and knew Walter for over 20 years. A great character, an enthusiastic artist and bingo player, among other things. They don't make them like Wally anymore, may he rest in peace.

I’m so sorry to hear of the sad news of Wally’s passing. My condolences to all the extended family on your great loss. It was a pleasure getting to know him at the CRC in Firhouse, and he will be sadly missed. The adults attending today also wanted me to express their condolences when they heard the news.
