Walter Mee

Caoimhe, I only found out about the death of your father; Walter; today. We met a few times in his office when I used to work for him. I'm very sorry to hear the news. I know how close you were and how proud he was of both you and Sean. He talked a lot about you both and how talented and accomplished both of you are. I hope you are bearing up okay.

My heart is saddened as the news arrived today to me in the USA. Walter was my "ride or die" in all things legal. He was a gentleman in all matters. We were all better off for knowing him.

I have just learned of the very sad passing of Walter Mee. My condolences to all his family and friends. Walter was my solicitor since 2001. He gave me such wonderful helpful advice over the years when I set up my business. He helped to save my business by going above and beyond when for two years from 2018-2020 we battled against a new landlord who tried to oust me. We were victorious, simply because of the care and hard work put in by Walter. After the covid lockdowns when we could finally meet one another again in person, I dropped into Walters office with a bottle of whiskey to thank him for all his help. "ah, the good stuff" he said. I still have my business today because of him and that is why, I will always remember Walter Mee as my hero. God bless you Walter.

Saddened to hear of Walter’s recent passing. He was very helpful to me in the early days of my separation. He went above and beyond for me in his Professional capacity. Condolences to Sean & Caoimhe whom he referred to lovingly. May he rest in peace

Heartbreaking to learn of Wally’s passing.

I'll never forget how we met back in April 2022 at our couch to 5 km run and later did many pilates classes together. We became friends and those parkruns we did together in Bushy Park were some of the best memories - celebrating Wally’s 100th parkrun was such a special moment.
And I'll miss his conversations about Ireland and also about his children. The pride in his voice was always noticeable when he talked about his son and daughter. Our walks/runs in the St Enda's and Marlay Park will be greatly missed.

You were taken from this world far too soon, but the impact you had on others will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, Wally. You will be profoundly missed.

We then started Commerce in UCC before Wally moved to Law and while our paths haven't crossed for many years I can still remember his impish smile and fun loving nature. May he rest in peace
