I was saddened to recently hear of Wally's passing. I got to know Wally during my time in the NEM in the early 70's. He was one of life's true gentlemen, kind and full of fun. My sincere condolences to Ger and all the family. May he rest in peace.

I am no so sorry to hear of Wally’s passing. I knew him in St. Marys Rathmines. We were in a band together in 1960. Great memories of practicing in Cullenswood & playing in Percy’s. LTC. Always the perfect gentleman. RIP

We are so sorry for your loss. The world has lost a wonderful character who was always full of love, laughter, fun and kindness. Evidently family was everything to Wally. We always felt so welcome in his presence and have lovely memories of many a party and a sing song in Clonard. Im so sorry I could not be there today. Bobbie said it was a beautiful send off.
