An old and dear friend and an army comrade of many years, Steve will always be remembered for his kind and gentle nature, his delight in all things military and of course his love of and pride in his own family.

I treasure the memories of those times spent in Steve's company, enjoying his quick wit, always impressed by his intelligence, honesty and, most importantly, loyalty.

May your soul rest in eternal peace.

Served with Steve on numerous occasions ,He was a brilliant instructor, no matter what he undertook, he always solved any problems with no fuss.
He was also a loyal friend from the very first day that we crossed paths.
While we had many conversations over the phone, he never complained about what he was going through.
Steve will be missed by all.

So sorry to hear about Uncle Steve's passing. He will be missed. Some of my fondest memories from visiting my grandparents and Aunt Patricia in Ireland centered around Uncle Steve and how kind and generous he was. I will always remember sitting on his motorcycle as a little boy, thinking how incredibly cool my Uncle Steve was. Sending our love and condolences to Aunt Patricia, Rosa, Tony, and Josh.
My thoughts are with Patricia, Rosa, Tony and Josh. I only have the fondest of memories for Uncle Steve. From the time and patience he had teaching me how to drive on the back roads of Tipperary, to taking us up the Glen, sharing all of his medals and his quick wit & sense of humor. We would like to send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Steve O’Shea, in particular to Steve’s Mother (Breda O’Shea) and brother William O’Shea (aka Billy). I only had the privilege of meeting Steve once and what an absolute gentleman and a very quiet man he was too. A gentleman taken far too soon. We would also like to pass on our deepest condolences to Steve’s wife, children and family at this time of great sadness. I am sure Walter will be one of the first to welcome his son up in Heaven. RIP Steve

We are thinking and praying for you all. I will always remember Uncle Steve sending me medals, patches, and other items from the Irish Military. I still have them all to this day. He was always so kind and giving when we came to visit. God bless!
