It is with much sadness i have learned of Walters passing. He is remembered fondly as a kind, thoughtful gentleman. We have many lovely family memories of Mauraid and Walter .

Walter was a well known and well regarded member of our golfing community and he made a lasting impression on us all. Walter was one of life's true gentlemen. Although he hadn't played golf for a while he still enjoyed visiting the Club on a regular basis for lunch or a coffee and meeting and catching-up with old pals. We will miss his quiet presence in the Club. Rest in peace Walter.

We are so sad over Walter's passing, RIP. My parents, Liam and Mary Rose will miss him terribly. He had become such a good friend to them, especially over the last couple of years where he was a frequent caller to their household. We will all miss his smiling face and our deepest sympathies go to all of you who loved him.
