To be honest, I am still in shock as I spoke to Wayne just the other day and he was sounding much better and seemed to be well on the mend... Lilian, you have been a true angel caring for him so lovingly in what must have been such a stressful time for you all...

I first met Wayne in late 1982 and we soon hit it off and ended up working together, or in close vicinity of each other, for nigh on fifteen years... we just seemed to always be on the same wave length, I loved his dry sense of humour and Zelda and I would inevitably spend Sunday afternoons together with him ...scrabble was played, copious amounts of wine were consumed and each week the world was put right, until the next week..

Wayne was such a gentleman who had time for anyone, anytime...and this is why the staff loved him wherever he worked..he was genuine and sincere and always showed an interest in his team as well as their families...many loved him as a father figure and would often seek his advice..

He was always a rock, someone you knew would be there and, most importantly, someone you knew would be just the same as always.. .we have all lost a very, very good man who will be missed by many...to Lilian, Rose, Brian and Graime please accept our sincere condolences and may faith , family and friends be your comfort and peace during this sad time...please know that you will all be in our thoughts and prayers as of course so will be Wayne....Rest in Peace friend, until we meet again..
