I helped Tony with his permanent residence application and got to know him when he arrived in Toronto. He was full of life and he was successful in his career. It was an honour to be his friend. I lost contact in recent times and was so shocked to hear he had died. He had so much to give. My condolences to the whole family.

I know i speak for many of his friends to say our hearts are broken. Murph was one of my greatest friends. He gave so much of himself to make you feel you feel a million bucks. So many great times we had with so much divilment over the years. I know his last couple of years brought illness and a slowdown. Anthony had only one speed, full throttle, he was never going to be an old feeble man, last man standing always. RIP my beautiful friend 🧡

It’s so hard to believe Tony is gone way too soon. He was so full of life, fun, mischief & great company. I have happy memories of him from college & then working together in our first real job.

My sincerest condolences to the Murphy family at this time. It is hard to believe that Tony is no longer with us. I have may fond memories of my trip to Toronto when I had the opportunity to stay with Tony and Barry. His smile, sense of devilment and good companionship will stay with me forever. Tony was so incredibly generous in nature and with his time when I first came to Toronto. He loved a good laugh, a story and always made me feel like I wasn’t far from home whenever I met him, he was much loved and it’s such sad news, may he rest in peace xo
