I am so so sorry to hear about Bill We worked together in the IAA for many years and no day passed without a good chat He was always go helpful and accommodating and most importantly so good humoured The GAA of course always came up and he was a very astute judge I often regretted not listening to his wisdom on my trips to the bookies I never knew anything of his stellar career in the Gardai which was a mark of the man as he always made every conversation about everything and everybody else apart from himself Bill I will miss you as a great Irishman Marvellous and fond memories Liam Ryan

Dear Maureen and family,

It is with great sadness that we learnt of the untimely passing of your beloved Bill. The death of a loved one is always so very sad and more so when it is a husband and father.

There is very little we can say except to express how deeply sorry we all are. You and Bill were very dear friends and neighbours to our family and particularly to Sean and Betty.
