My memories of Bill, of which there are many is of a great guy , with an incredibly warm nature and a lovely sense of humour. I scaled a mountain with him once or it could have been a big hill, I’m not sure, but as well as staring at his derrière for a few hours, I had the great pleasure of his company. He was a lot of fun to be around and always very generous with his time and if anyone mentioned his name to me my first reaction would be to smile. He will definitely be missed and my deepest sympathies to his family

I have some lovely memories of my time working in Doyle's SuperValu as a teenager. It was my first job and taught me the value of a decent day's work. The shop was a place for many young people locally to gain independence and earn a bit of money! I was very grateful for the opportunity and I know the time I spent there working on Saturdays and during school holidays really stood to me in later years. To this day, I still refer to it at "Doyle's" as do many others locally which is testament to the business that thrived there for many years and played such a vital role in the community. Deepest sympathies to all the family.
