A great storyteller possesses the remarkable ability to connect deeply with others and is able to leave a lasting impact on our lives.

Bill loved telling a good story and left an incredible impact on all of our lives…

My fondest memories are of Bill telling stories over a good meal with a glass of wine in his hands and music in the background. Laughter in his eyes as he skillfully worked through his extensive Vinyl collection - complete with his Boxer’s Shuffle/jive as he danced and hummed to the music whilst transporting you to another place… another time.

Bill was a remarkable story teller…a gift he imparted to both Kevin and David who he loved dearly and was immensely proud of.

But no story is complete without a heroine…especially given how difficult and hard the last few chapters of Bill’s story had been. In Maura, Bill found a true and steadfast rock who remained loyal and selflessly supported him in both the good times as well as the bad times- her infectious positivity and approach to life never ceases to amaze and inspire!

Maura, David & Kevin you are in all our thoughts during this difficult time.

It was with shock we read your words of Bill's death, dear friend Maura. Such a warm man, always smiling, wonderful company., We were so far away, unable to hug you on that awful day. We remember his big smile, how he loved company. We will always treasure those joyful times eating together. We will feel his absence at future times together.
