I was so shocked and taken aback to get the phone
Only the day before I’d spoken of phoning Bill to find out how he was coping with the current pandemic. To lose your sister so suddenly in the prime of her life must have been the last straw for poor Bill.

I was glad to be able to watch the funeral service online a feel a part of it.

Your dad was one of a rare breed, a one off. We were privileged to call him a friend.

He was the kindest, thoughtful, helpful and most loyal friend you could wish for. Always ready to lend a hand and crack a joke. We go back many years.

Thank you Bill for the warm welcome always, the cups of tea, homemade tarts and homemade crusty bread. I can smell it now !
Home and family were everything to Bill and he was so proud of you all.

Thank you to the McEntee family for looking after Sally in our absence overseas.

Bill gave her a new lease of life after our Mam’s death introducing her to the Dog Shows and herself and Maria were great pals.
Oh to be a fly on the wall with the post show analysis.

May you find some solace in the happy memories you all share of your loved ones and may they help sustain you in the difficult period ahead.
