Sympathies to the Murphy family on your loss.

RegretfulIy I never knew Bill. Nevertheless I enjoyed his contributions to the Aer Lingus retired staff website.

All his contributions were well framed thoughtful, and carried the power of enthusiasm and experience in the National Airline.

I looked forward to reading his emails whether the subject matter was serious or light, whether it was corporate in nature or of a social and reminiscent kind.
I'm sure many of Bill's have tales they would like to recount of their shared memories and I look forward to reading them. T h roug our memories we live on.

To you Bill's family I send you my prayers and may Bill Murphy rest in peace.

Bill was a character, and a good friend to me over the last 7 years, well travelled with a litany of colourful and memorable stories of his incredible life. A great confidante who I shared many laughs with. He will be sorely missed.

Sincere sympathy to Bill's family on his death at such a great age
It’s been a pleasure to know Bill for the last 20 years, such a gentleman, modest and understated. He had been bemused in recent years about what had become of the Wexford hurler he once was, but never a word of complaint. I shall miss him.
Deepest condolences on the death of William. He visited us here in Ballybrennan House a year or two ago it was very interesting to hear about his ancestors that used to live here. Julie and Michael Finn. Ballybrennan House Bree Enniscorthy.
