Bill was one of life's Special People!
He always had a kind way about him and if he could he would help you out in anyway without a second thought.

I met him first over 13 years ago when I joined the the Mallow GAA and became involved with management committee. Eventhough I was a "blow-in" to mallow, with the help of Bill and a few more I was made feel very welcome and in turn I became more involved with the club.
Our friendship grew through our mutual involvement with the running of the club's weekly lotto. Where I learned about his life, his many interests but above all his unique sence of humour and love of divilment .

He adored his beloved wife Kathleen, was very proud of children and loved to talk about his grandchildren.

His rougeishly happy smile will be my lasting memory of a person who I was previlage to call my friend.

Good night Bill, be at Rest now your work here is done.
