Like many others I got to know Bill many years ago through Scouts, he 81st and I 37th, through Accountancy lectures, that he finished but I didnt - he was just a lovely guy. He's had a good few tough years since and I hope he's at peace now. RIP Bill - a great guy !

The Funeral service in Terenure College Chapel was beautiful and was a lovely tribute to Bill.

El, I’ll always remember how your Dad beamed with pride and adoration before you set off on your adventure to Abu Dhabi. You only had to spend a couple of minutes in Bill’s company to feel his warmth, hear his stories, and see how deeply he loved his family.

Billy's death gave me a big shock.
I have not see him to often since we were young but many happy memories of walking to school together and long summer's playing football in the field behind the houses.

To Elaine, Elena & David, we were so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. Everyone within the Terenure Tigers (Parents, Players & Coaches) who knew Bill, were very sad when they heard the news. Bill with his gentle nature was a fantastic coach for the Tigers, and we were so lucky to have him. RIP xx

I am not suprised that Teenure College won the Junior Cup in 1977 when Bill was on the team.
