William (Bill) RONAYNE

We had a wonderful time with Bill on our visit several years ago. What a delightful man with a dry sense of humor and keen interest in his relatives from the USA. We will miss his letters and contact.

We want to offer condolences for the passing of cousin William. We were able to call him and talk for a few minutes while on a tour in Ireland a couple years ago and enjoyed a few years of cards and letters since then. We had hoped to have a chance to visit Ireland again with a stop near Clashmore to see him. We will miss his letters and the privilege of having a special cousin in Ireland.

Please accept my condolences on the passing of such a fine person. I have not met Bill personally, But many relatives of mine that were fortunate enough to have travled to Ireland has, they all talked about meeting William very fondly, and you could eaisly see that William had made a great impression on them. I have always wished very much to travel to Ireland to visit William myself. But it seems just a missed oppertunity now. My dad's was also William (Bill) Ronan Sr. he was the son of Thomas, and Nellie Ronan from County Cork Ireland they also spoke about Bill Very fondly, when they were with us on earth. We feel so fortunate to have connected with Bill 10 years ago. He was so surprised to see his "cousins from America" show up on his doorstep! We will miss his quick wit and sense of humor, and his many letters.
