Billy was a man of great sporting achievements who wore his talents lightly.
Three times Irish Sexton Trophy motor racing champion in the 1950s and a long list of international race entries in the 1960s stretching from the Bahamas to Sweden and down to Angola. It was always a pleasure to talk to him and he will be missed greatly.

Billy Bradshaw - RIP
Sad news to share with the passing of William E.T. (Billy) Bradshaw following a short illness. Billy was one of the foremost drivers to come out of Ireland in the 1950s and ‘60’s who compiled a remarkable record of competing in not only the Leinster Trophy and Phoenix Park, but also on the great circuits of Europe and across the globe. In his later years Billy became a golfer of some note, and he still holds the unofficial record for the most holes-in-one in Britain and Ireland.

I was so sorry to hear of Billy's death and send my deepest sympathy to all the Bradshaw family. My early memories of Billy were in Pembroke Wanderers Hockey Club playing mixed hockey in several 7aside tournaments and then later playing golf with him in Greystones and Foxrock. He was a true gent and it was always a pleasure to be in his company. He will be greatly missed.
Billy, simply a legend in Greystones GC, both on the course and in the clubhouse. Quiet, low key, but always a twinkle in his eye, and a spot of mischief never far away.
Billy will be greatly missed, especially by the 1895 group.

I'd like to offer my deepest condolences to Julie, William, Laura and the extended Bradshaw family on the death of Billy. He was an absolute icon in Greystones Golf club - renowned for his numerous holes-in-1 and his impish smile that lit up a room. I have never heard anyone say a bad word about him. He will be sorely missed by his very many friends in the club and he can now regale all in the after life about his exploits rallying and on the golf course. We are all the poorer for his passing. Ar dheis De go raibh a Anam dilis.
So sad to hear of the death of Billy. He will be sadly missed by all of us in the 1895s in Greystones Golf Club. Bernard Darcy.
This is really shocking news. Billie was at the centre of all the 1895s golfing activities at Greystones Golf Club. He probably never realised how much he was loved and respected and how much he was looked up to.
I am very sorry that I will be unable to attend his funeral next week as I will be flying that day to the USA but I extend my deepest condolences to his wife and family.
He was a unique person who lived life the full. His life was definitely a life well spent.
