Very sad to hear of Billy’s passing. He was a great friend to us and our family.
An absolute gentleman, he was a wonderful character, gregarious, funny and with the most positive attitude anyone could have.

He was so good to me throughout my career, always willing to help, loyal and enthusiastic. He had an astute political brain and could see around the corner.
He dragged me out knocking on doors when it was not easy to do so

We had so many good times, laughing with John Cahill or playing golf with John Cunningham and Mark Killilea. He now joins them in heaven.

Billy make a big impact on many young man as a board member of Oberstown Offenders Centre, with his positive and practical approach to ‘being good’

He was always so proud of his family who were always his favourite subject of discussion.

Our sympathies to Celia, Patrick, Aoife and Carisa. We will miss him very much.
