Sheila, John and Mary, my sincerest condolences on the passing of Billy. As everyone knows, Billy was a gentleman with the sunniest of dispositions as well as a droll sense of humour. I met him on many occasions over the years through my brother, Dermot, and he was always the most genial company. I only heard the news of his sudden passing yesterday and honestly, I'm still in shock.

May he rest in peace and may his family and friends find strength to deal with their sad loss.

When working in Dublin I would bump into Billy on a fairly regular basis and it was always a pleasure to chat to him. My condolences also to Billy’s sister Mary and husband Denis.
