My sincerest condolences to Billy's family. I lived next to Billy for two years in Sunday's Well and I dearly cherish my time as his neighbour. His adoration for 'Kiwi', the neighbourhood cat always put a smile on my face. I'll miss the chit chat we'd have about some local characters and happenings. It was only two weeks ago that I saw Billy last and we had a good chat like old times. I'm so shocked to hear of his passing but I hope wherever he is, he's listening to RTE Radio 1 at full blast.
