Sincere sympathy to Anne & Mort and extended Connor family on the death of Billy. May he rest in peace.
I first met Billy in the TV Club in Dublin in the late 70's and we have remained friends since. I can't count the amount of jives and waltz's we had. The great chats we had about sport and politics and many other topics. He was so kind and obliging. So sad my condolence to all his family, I will miss his friendly face and wise words. May he rest in peace.
I am deeply saddened at the untimely death of my good friend and work colleague for many years, Willie Connor. My condolences to his family. May he rest in eternal peace

Sincere sympathy to all the Connor family on the death of Bill R.I.P., Bill was a good friend to us all and a great Gaa supporter of Mayo..
Deepest sympathy to all the Connor family on your sudden and sad loss of William. He was a true gentleman. May he rest in peace.
To William's sister Anne Hughes, his brothers Seamus & John, his sister-in-law Mary, his nieces & nephews and extended family.

It was with heartfelt regret we learned of our dear friends death. We share your grief in your sudden & unexpected loss.

We knew William for many years. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was very "well connected" to many people and could always give advice on any subject. His knowledge was immense & if he ever doubted his expertise he would consult with colleagues until he got exactly the right answer. His departure is like a LIBRARY being burned down.

He always worked very hard and this reminds me of a statement made by Charles Darwin who said: "A man who dares to waste one hour of his time has not discovered the value of life." William wasted no time.

A POEM FOR WILLIAM
I WALKED A MILE WITH PLEASURE. HE CHATTED ALL THE WAY
BUT LEFT ME NONE THE WISER FOR ALL HE HAD TO SAY!
I WALKED A MILE WITH SORROW & NEVER A WORD SAID HE
BUT OH, THE THINGS I LEARNED FROM HIM - WHEN SORROW WALKED WITH ME

To the family and relatives of William we send our heartfelt condolences and our deepest sympathy.
Please remember: “Absence and death are the same only that in death there is no suffering”.

MAY WILLIAM'S GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE
