Willie, it was a pleasure knowing you. I enjoyed our weekly practice, your goal was to get a Shadows tribute band and we almost made it. You were a gentleman. I will miss you dearly you were a good friend. Until we meet again, sleep well my friend.

So sorry to hear of Willie's passing. I played with Willie in the tops of the town for Waterford shopping center lisduggan. I think maybe 1978. Very fond memories. Rest in peace Willie.

Only hearing about this now and I am so sad to hear this sad news.

Willie, we will sincerely miss you and the chats in passing and bumping into you when ever we were down staying in my mother’s house.

You were a wonderful, caring thoughtful neighbour and a good friend to my mother, Eileen.
You always looked out for her and always asked us how she was since she left the Yellow Road.

You were also a lovely neighbour and friend to us too and you always made it your business to come and greet us when we were down staying in my mothers house from Dublin and from England, and for that we are forever grateful. Paul won’t forget his fond memories with you every summer of the fishing interactions and challenges and dropping in the catch of the day to you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Anne and all at this sad time.

So sorry to hear of Willie’s passing. He was a terrific guitar player in the 1960’s and 70’s and one of the first to play a Fender Strat in Waterford. I was lucky to play with him in the group “The Huds” for a few years in the late 1960’s. I lost touch with him when I left Waterford back then. My condolences to Ann and the extended Fleming family.
