So shocked to hear of Billy's passing. I've lots of great memories of us hanging around in Rathvilly when we were teenagers. My condolences to all the family. RIP Billy

Known Billy since I was kid, I'll never forget the laugh people got out of him, he was good man and a great chess player, may he rest in peace. Gonna miss you Bill. RIP

So sad to hear the news about our good friend and neighbour Billy passing away, always had a smile on his face and I know that my brother Joe will miss you dearly, Rest in Peace Billy

We will really miss Billy, such a lovely neighbour. Always friendly, stopping for a chat and was genuinely caring interested in other people. We are really glad we got to be friends with Billy. Our condolences to Eileen and the Hyland family.

I am very shocked to hear of Billy's passing.
Billy was my best mate when I lived in Rathvilly in the 70's & 80's, we grown up together.
As time goes by you loose touch, but Billy was there for me when my mum died 7year's ago, he was a true friend.
A very thoughtful and caring person, who would never pass you by.

Heartbroken, much much too young, Bill was a great uncle and an even better friend, was always there for me growing up, very kind and warm, always smiling and always had time for everyone, the world needs more people like Billy, what a beautiful soul, dearly missed, love you pal.
