Our deepest condolences to the McCormack family on the loss of Billy. He is in our thoughts and prayers.
Our father was the most amazing man. He was so encouraging to us all, whatever we wanted to do with our lives. He was so funny without realising how funny he was. There’s so many Billy stories that he’ll definitely inspire a book from someone in the family and he has already inspired a film. We love you Daddy as unconditionally as you loved us all. You were game ball, 100% and your send off has been full tears, as well as many, many laughs. May you raise as many laughs wherever you are now with Dick. Love and big bear hugs. We love the bones of you too…
Ann-Marie, Rod, Sam, Max, Mammy and all my amazing siblings. Xxxxx

So sad to hear of Billys passing. such a great charachter, always full of life, and ready to help a friend in need. I will never forget all Anne and Billy did for my mum many years ago when she was in hospital in Dublin for a month, they were the family that kept her going while she was there. and we had a home from home in churchtown back then. Hopefully she is waiting for him at the Gates up there now and they are reminissing their days down here.
R.I.P. Billy.
And my deepest sympathies to all my Dublin cousins.

To say that daddy was a character, is an understatement! A Billy book is sure to emerge one of these days, to recall the unbelievably funny antics that Billy got up to at home and in work 😀 but there was so much more to this loveable, larger than life man....he was funny, generous, a soldier when it came to his countless procedures. He was very stubborn, often grumpy, like most old men but he was always hugely appreciative of the smallest gestures or acts of kindness towards him. Daddy, you'll be terribly missed by everyone who knew and loved you, you were such a family man, and I feel so honoured to have been one of your brood. So go forth in peace and have a few pints with Dick, and get to know your dad, which I know you've always wanted to do. Love as always xx Ali ❤️
