Sincere sympathy to the McLoughlin family on the death of your dad Billy. We in Rylane Boxing Club have many fond memories of himself and George Bennett from the West Cork Boxing Club when we started our club in the late seventies. Whenever I met him we would have a big chat about boxing and how our club was going. A few months ago I had a chat with him in Ballincollig Shopping Centre. May he rest in peace.

Billy was a gentleman, a great character and a pleasure to work for. Sincere condolences to Brian and family.

Suzanne and Brian it was with great shock and deepest sadness that I heard through an announcement in Warrempoint parish that Billy had died. The condolences say his grandchilderen adored him. Of course! We as children adored him. We were 9 siblings and he started his apprentice as painter and decorator with my father. He was part of the furniture when we were young. He'd come in and have us at high-doh with his antics; and my mother telling him to 'take them with you!' knowing she'd have to calm us all down when he'd gone. He was a joy and unforgetable presence. He and your lovely mother were at my ordination in 1982 but I saw littlle of them since being overseas so much. I remember him with gratitude and will join remotely to pray with you for him on Friday. To you and the McLoughlins in W'Point deepest sympathies from all of 'Joker' Carr's family..May he rest in the Lord!

I am saddened to hear of the death of Willie, as I knew him. May he rest in peace. . We were friends throughout childhood ,schooling and until he left his native Warrenpoint for pastures new. What can one say, words are inadequate at a time like this. I pray God will give you comfort at this sad time.
