Sincere sympathies to the extended Rock family on the sad passing of Billy whom I fondly remember from our days on Post Office Engineering Branch and Telecom. And also our paths crossed many times in the world of Variety as rival Vocal Groups when he teamed up with his colleague Phil Cobbe on many a stage around Dublin City . We would meet in later years through his linkup with Billy Brennan / Jack Corcoran. A true Gent with a constant jovial manner.

Like Derek I also worked with Billy in the CTO and in the Telex Section in Telephone House, Marlboro Street. In his CTO days Billy, who also sang at various Dublin venues down through the years, always had a new car....
