Sincere sympathy to Mary and family, to PJ, Grace and family to Vincent and Miley and extended Burke families on the sad passing of William. He was called Bobby in Abbeyknockmoy. There are many happy memories of Bobby in his young days picking potatoes and cutting oats with the grey combine. Later I met him in his house in Newcastlewest where we enjoyed a cuppa together. He played junior hurling with Abbey in the late 1950s. Bobby was a great character full of devilment and fun. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
