Sincere condolences to Ann and family on the dearth of Billy.I have very fond memories of him from my time in the early days of the Horticulture College 70 to 72.Billy always had the interest of his students at heart and shared generously his knowledge and experience.RIP Billy and thank you.

We have very fond memories of Mr Cummins lectures in An Grianan , it would start of with the varieties of Deciduous Trees and end up with the Runners in the Grand National!! But he loved all things Horticultural and tried to instill this in all his students.

Dearest Ann and family. I love this photo of Billy's smile. He was always just himself, no pretension, just Billy. He gave me my first job, along with my cousin Eleanor, repotting plants for two pounds an hour in the poly tunnels. I still use that same technique to repot plants today. I wish I could be with you as you lay him to rest as you were with us in October when we said goodbye to Mum. Sending lots of love to you all.
