Remember with such fondness the time spent with Will in Baltinglass Folk Group and recording our CD in St. Patrick's in Kiltegan. William was a tremendous talent then and only improved with age, it was a pleasure to hear him play in Baltinglass and he was always so modest when receiving praise for his magical talent.

It is with a heavy heart that we're writing about your lovely William and sending our love to you Eílis, Sarah, Emma, Paul & all your families.
William we met you aged 14, when you joined the Baltinglass Folk Group & what beautiful music came with you! Every ceremony & concert after that had your magical sparkle all over it. You read music but your own arrangements always worked better!
You were as enthusiastic about playing for our primary school events as you were for the many famous names you accompanied at the Baltinglass Church Concerts. William you enthralled everyone with your amazing talent and you were always so humble. How many times did we hear you say, "Yes I'd love to help!"
We will treasure the recordings we made with you, the CD and especially the televised Mass from St.Patrick's Kiltegan.
Thank you William for all you have given us. We had you for a short time. We miss you, dear friend. We are heartbroken, but you are at peace now, sharing your sweet music with the heavenly choirs. We know your shining light will always be with us.
