We are still heartbroken over William’s passing. We know how much he meant to you all and we are so sorry for the pain you’re going through. Please accept our deepest condolences.
William was such a kind and genuine person. A true gentleman with a warm spirit and a quiet, steady generosity. He touched so many lives through his work and his friendships and his loss will be felt deeply by everyone who knew him.
We can only imagine how hard these weeks have been for all of you. You gave him a fitting send off full of love and joy. Please know that you are very much in our hearts and we’re holding you close in our thoughts.

I have just received the sad news about William. He was a great friend and always had a great sense of humour. I will miss him.

I would like to express my sincerest condolences to you all on the death of your dear son, brother, uncle and friend.

I was so sad to hear of Willie’s sudden death. His light shone bright in Trinity. I will always remember him as a kind, humorous, vivacious and great-fun guy to whom people gravitated towards.

May Willie rest in peace.

My heart breaks for lovely Will. I didn't know him terribly well, only on nights out in Dublin in the 90's, early 2000's. It always struck me how warm and thoughtful he was. We often laughed at the same silly stuff. My sincerest condolences to all Wills family and friends, I've no doubt he'll always remain a strong part of their lives.

Willie was a gentleman - a smile always spread across my face when i saw him and he always had a kind word - he was a kind loving man who was hugely popular with all his colleagues in the law library - I was so very sad when i heard of his passing - I recall meeting him after he had purchased a very fancy dutch bike - i’d never seen him so happy - that is how i will always remember him.
