Deepest sympathy to Kathleen and family on the passing of your beloved Bill, an absolute real gentleman, whom I have known for a long time. Bernard Darcy.
It is with great sorrow that I have learned of tbe death of Bill. A most gentle kind thoughtful and always helpful man who was a great inspiration to all of us Members in GGC at the time of our greatest need following the disasterous fire that destroyed our beautiful old Clubhouse in September 1988. Bill gave his time and expertise unstintingly to help us all at that time and long after our new Clubhouse was completed despite having a huge personal health battle to contend with. Bill never sought thanks or accolades for his deeds and I can only say to his beloved family we in Greystones G C held him in the greatest regard. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this most sorrowful time Rest in well deserved Peace dear friend.
