he seems to have been a very loving person who lived for his family).

Bill had been a good friend of Maura & I since we met him in the Glenside shortly after the death of his beloved wife, Anna, whom he missed greatly. We attended his 80th birthday party in the Glenside, and how he enjoyed that occasion! We met him there often - his favourite place - and always looked forward to his company. Bill was a gentleman to the core with a nice sense of humour, who smiled and laughed easily. He loved his family and often spoke fondly of them and his daughters-in-law, grandchildren and laterally his great grandchild. We will miss him greatly as will a great many others and we’ll miss his renditions of “Candy Store” and “You’re My Best Friend.” Our deepest sympathy to his sons David, Michael and Adrian, extended family and many, many friends. Rest In Peace, Bill.

I know your dad from the Ballyboden club. He was a lovely man. I often chatted to him during our tea breaks and remarked what great spirit he had to get himself up to the club most days and how friendly he was.
He always brought a sandwich and enjoyed it with his tea and chat
May he rest I peace. I’ll miss seeing him sitting waiting for us to finish our classes and join in the chat
