Bill was a true gentleman and a lovely person. I used to meet him with another friend Shay every Sunday evening in Briody's Bar and we'd have a great chat. Bill had a great sense of humour and he would tell us stories of the interesting people he worked with in England and Scotland.
He loved Mount Argus Church and he had a deep faith in God.
I met him every Sunday for many years and I looked forward to that, he often spoke about his beloved parents and siblings.
He is with them now in heaven,
Thank you Bill for the good times.
Bill, we are going to miss you that’s for sure. You were one of life’s true gentlemen. You were a breath of fresh air when you arrived into the shop,we all loved to see you coming in. The chats and laughs we shared over the years while you got your haircut will stay with us. But the one thing we will never forget and miss so very much about you was your wonderful, gentle, warm, kindhearted Smile that you shared with everyone .
Have a good rest now Bill, keep smiling down on us.

As the small circle of origional neighbours grows smaller in Crumlin, Liam will be missed.

I have a warm memory of Liam standing at his garden gate, on one of those evening during Covid lockdown, as we applauded the nursing staff at 8 pm. All the neighbours around stood outside and clapped in support of all hospital and emergency staff. Liam was smiling broadly as he gave me a nod across the garden fences.

Our deepest sympathy goes to Liam's family and friends at this time
from all the close neighbours.
