William (Liam) Dennehy

Grandad, you were truly one of a kind, and we will miss you more than words can express. It’s been two months, and it still feels unreal that you're gone, but we find comfort knowing you’re in a better place now. We know you're watching over all of us from heaven, and we’ll make sure to look after Nana for you.We will miss everything about you, but especially the precious chats we had with you and Nana in the house. The memories we shared with you will live on in our hearts forever. Until the day we meet again in heaven, know that we will always love you, Grandad. 🤍

It has been two months since you left, and for me, it feels like it was yesterday. It’s hard to believe how quickly you’re gone. I still remember when you played with me every afternoon after school; for me, those were the best hours of the week. I wish I had appreciated it more, but still, you made me feel very loved. You have always been and will always be the best grandad anyone could have. Thank you for everything you taught me. I’ve learned so much from you. It's hard for me to accept that you’re gone, but I know that wherever you are, you’ll be fine. I will never forget what a wonderful grandad you were. I will love you forever grandad🤍

When we were going to Mogan and he heard I was from Wilton Road the request came to bring a week,s supply of "The Cork Examiner" and a box of Barry,s Tea !! What a great empire he set up in Mogan. It’s been 3 weeks now and I still can’t believe you are gone. My Grandad…The one that would jump on a boat dressed as Santa Claus to surprise me on my Birthday every 16th of December.
The one that would drive like a lunatic to get all our textbooks, while Mum would have a nervous breakdown . The one that would prepare breakfast every Morning in the Marina Bar as perfect as a 5 star hotel buffet. The one that would wake up at 2.30 because 3 o’clock in the Morning is the right time to open the bar for coffee. He didn’t really like to say “Goodbye” he would just give you a strong slap in the back and that meant: “I love you, safe trip & see you soon!” We are missing you so much Grandad, you were just the perfect Grandad for us. I love you… and I’m not going to say Goodbye… just See you soon and I Hope you are getting plenty of jelly and ice cream up there! 🤍🕊️
