I have fond memories as your next door neighbour in Strawhall, when Bill junior was a baby - hitting golf balls in the net that Bill set up in the garage, and getting his wise golfing advice (to hit all shots with the same easy swing!). You were such lovely neighbours, also letting me play your grand piano.

Such a handsome man, so well informed, so many stories of when we were young; horses, golf, his days at the Irish Sugar Company. ( Never forgot that big American doll with blond hair you could brush when I was only six yrs, that he brought along for me on one of his trips home from the States, where he served in the US Air Force..( He was so awesome in that uniform!) Despite his heart issues, and because of Mary’s great care I know, in the end God granted him a very long blessed life..🍀

May you Billy, Rest in Peace🙏 and May Our Lady help his dear, dear wife Mary..( who used to shower me with so many lovely gifts when they visited me in the US…and who treated us all to her fabulous cooking whenever we stopped by at “Carrig House” in Wicklow…And was always amazed by the natural beauty, and Lough Dan, which surrounded them in Roundwood 😢
