To Bill's dear family
It was with great sadness that we heard that you have lost your lovely Dad and Grandad.We met Bill at a very difficult time in our lives when we lost our son Stephen in August 2011. He showed such kindness to us by cutting the grass on our grave. He did that as a lovely act of thoughtfulness to us without ever being asked.A random act of kindness by a stranger who became a lovely friend to us.We often met in St Oliver's and had many lovely chats there. He tended to his late wife's grave there with such love and devotion,t was a beautiful thing to witness. He was a real gentleman ,a perfectionist and full of compassion . Bill was very special to us and we will always remember him with great affection. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. We will always call to him and say a little prayer there,when in St Oliver's. We will forever remember Bill's kindness to us.
