My sincere sympathy Treasa, Catherine and Paddy on your father's death. I got to know Tony through the Zambia Immersion Programme when he travelled to Mazabuka with a group of students and teachers from St. Ciaran's Community School many moons ago. My son was on the trip and he had the height of regard for Tony. That group brought a solar powered pump to the village which provided water for thousands of people. Tony was a committed member of that first trip and also travelled on a second occasion with a group of Kells adults. The Lord will reward Tony in Heaven for his charitable work on earth. May you find comfort in the memories of your loving father in the days and weeks ahead.

Please accept my most sincere condolences on the death of Tony, a gentle soul at ease with both man and nature. Lovely childhood memories of his kindness as he made the daily trip in his brown Toyota Corolla to check the cattle at his farm in Girley. He drove so slowly and respectfully through the yard, no doubt to avoid all wild children in our house! He was a man of great intellect and stories. We loved hearing of his escapades with his late brother John to Canada.

It was always a pleasure to meet him laterally in his most recent role as sacristan, where he gave superb service with his same trademark respectful presence.
