Only heard the news today at Abbeyfield. So sorry to hear of Will's passing. I have fond memories of his company when we were out horseriding. A pure gentleman and a good craic. So sorry for Catherine and all of Will's immediate family may he rest in piece 🙏

Very sad to hear of Wills passing...Will assisted me in climbing the ladder within Irish Life...whilst a tough taskmaster...it was for my own good. He made me laugh on a daily basis...one funny story was a day we played golf and were paired together.....neither of us covering ourselves in glory....i asked...' Will, do you think a 9 iron will get me up there?'........Wills answer.......EVENTUALLY!! May he rest in peace.

Always in good form, always with a joke or a kind word, the afternoons watching the rugby will be missed and never the same again.

Condolences to Will’s partner and family. I have only heard the very sad news. I first met Will and Fiona when we were teenagers in Bray Sailing Club, and worked with him later in Irish Life. Such a gent, always ready to chat and have a witty remark. May he be at peace.

Veronica, Fiona, Robert and all of Wills family and his great band of friends, everyone is so sorry for this great loss and heartbreak that you are experiencing.

Will, you will always be remembered for your great character, you would never pass by without a hi, how are you doing, or a bit of a banter, a true gent, had time for everyone.

I was so sad and shocked to hear of his passing and hold the fondest of memories of working with Will in the Silver Tassie and then the early college years . His funeral mass and beautiful eulogy was such a wonderful tribute to him . Will clearly touched so many lives and was deeply loved by so many . Thinking of you all . Rest in peace Will .

My family and I are in grief and sorrow for my friend.

I have great memories of William, Richard P. and I growing up together on the same road in Loughlinstown. Sometimes it felt like we spent every waking moment together. From the M1 and Saturday night dances to summer jobs in the Silver Tassie, BMW Munich and greenkeeping on Cape Cod. We were a tight band of brothers.

I last saw William at my fathers funeral 13 years ago but still a verse from John Lennon best describes my emotions since Richard shared the sad news with me;

Sounds of laughter, shades of earth
Are ringing through my open mind
Inciting and inviting me
Limitless undying love which shines around me like a million suns
It calls me on and on across the universe

There are no words.. but my thoughts and prayers are with Veronica, his family and friends. The world is darker without his light. RIP Will

We knew Will from the yard, Saturday and Sunday morning ride outs. Just like the rest of us, the yard seemed to be his happy place. The smile on his face when he jumped the course, or even a spin around the gallops. We enjoyed a slagging and more serious discussion about hoof care!!

We won't ever forget Will. We'll mind Yeates in his absence and the next time we jump the course we'll do it in his honour.

I was very sorry to hear about the untimely passing of Will. We played rugby together in Stradbrook back in the 90's and I remember him as a great teammate, a tough but fair competitor and a good bloke. His family and friends, old and new have lost a good one.

I was truly saddened to hear about the passing of Will. We are fortune to have had the opportunity to work with such a gentleman, he will be sorely missed by us all.

I was lucky to have known Will when I worked in MMPI for many years. Will was absolutely sound. He was so polished and professional. He had a great sense of humour and quick wit. When Will called in, I didn’t get much work done because he’d have me in fits of laughter. His timing when delivering a punchline or one-liner was impeccable. He was priceless. It's difficult to write about him in the past tense.

My sincere condolences to Veronica, the Molloy family, and all of Will’s colleagues and great friends who were the richer for having him in their lives.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Will's passing. Having worked alongside him and met him out socially over a long period of time, I always enjoyed his good company and friendship. Will shall be missed by all who knew him. My thoughts are with his partner, family and friends at this very sad time.

Knowing Will since he was a young lad, he is listening more intently anyway to the stories, fun, pints & friendship flowing greatly over this difficult week.

One little story that personified my great friend Will for me. I took Will aside one nite in Gleason's and I said to him "Will, you must be so proud that you are the main man in the Insurance business in Dublin and known by all as the go to guy" Will said back to me , "Benj you have done great too for a man of your limited ability!! " we laughed together for the rest of the nite.

Will, going miss you very much, will keep smiling at the great memories but have shed a couple of tears too.
