My deepest sympathies to all of the Corrigan Family. I met Willie as part of my involvement with the Alone charity about 6 years ago, our relationship grew over time and was always grateful for our weekly visits or calls. He loved talking about his passions of country music, horse racing, bowls and the bus trips. Always so appreciative of all the assistance he was getting from Kitty, Denise, Pauline and all the women in his life. RIP my friend, you are missed dearly.

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Willie. I had the pleasure of having weekly telephone chats for almost 5 years with him and we got to meet on one of his tours when he came to Cork. Willie was so grateful for all the support he got from his lovely neighbours and friends, especially Kitty, Denise and Pauline. He was also very fond of the girls from the day cente where he loved the chats and the company. He always had a story to tell and was so interested in the different parts of Ireland he visited and loved hearing about the news from my family. Every week he would say "tell them Willie was asking for them and tell them I am fine". They always asked about him too. On behalf of myself and my family, I offer our sincere condolences to Willie's family, extended family, neighbours and friends. May you rest in peace Willie. I will continue to light candles for you and hope you know you made an impact on so many people's lives. RIP.

It is with sadness we are all writing these sincere condolences for the passing of Willie.
He was a great and thoughtful conversationalist. Over the year’s of visiting him from across the water we shared several walks in and around Hacketstown. He even joined me on more than one occasion up on the hill behind the town sat under the cross to watch the world go by.
My thoughts are with you all especially at this time, Derek, Des, Jimmy and Jane. Plus, the many other family members and friends who had the pleasure to have known and loved Willie.
