William (Willie) Fleming

Willie was a real Dublin character who lived life to the full. Always looking for adventure and a good laugh. It was a pleasure to serve with him as a fellow Sergeant, as his character rubbed off on us all. I loved him like a brother and will miss him. I will always have many happy memories of him. It's a sad time, the end of an era. Condolences to you Mary & all of the family.

My uncle Willie is a great loss to me and so many of my family. He was always positive ,encouraging , a great influence at all times , an absolute great character and a massive part of my life growing up . He was one of the funniest people I knew , irreverant at times , but you always got him as he was , an unwavering , impactful person to everyone that knew him. Willie you were a great inspiration for me and many others , a living part of the real Dublin and no one will ever replace you in this life , all my love , Thomas XXX
