I was so sorry to hear about Willies pasing and missed his funeral. We have such fond memories of Willie of his time in Ballycahill. He was dearly loved by all the Maher family. May he rest in peace.

Having just heard of Willie's death, I wish to send my deepest sympathy to the Hayes family. Memories of a wonderfull afternoon spent is his and Mairin's company in Roscrea few years ago. We loved your Hayes home, hospitality, garden and library at Lisheen, thank you. You are with us always, Willie, we have rich memories of your Australian visits, especially our visits to Irish poets and Michael Dwyer in Waverley cemetery. The Australian Southern Cross shines upon you, Willie.
