William (Willie) Lupton

I was very sorry to hear the sad news of Willie's passing. Willie and Monica and their family were great supporters of CBS James's St. Their hard work on behalf of the school was greatly appreciated. I'm sure Willie will be greatly missed by his family and by his community. May he rest in peace.

Willie was a dear friend and fellow Bridge player. He will be greatly missed by all in St. Kevins bridge club.
He will be remembered in particular for his skill, his kindness and wonderful sense of humour.
An absolute gentleman and always a pleasure to spend time in his company.

To Monica and all the sons and daughters of Willie. You were very lucky to have a dad like yours. He was a gentleman to his fingertips. When i first started a team in Jamebo your dad was my go to man. He lent me jerseys,hurleys,sliothars and helmets. Hurling would never have got off the ground in Jamebo. Jamebo owes a huge debt to him. Indeed so do I. He never asked for anything in return and this was typical of the man. Always giving and never asking. One of life's gentlemen and i feel lucky to have known him. I'm so sorry for your loss. You are wonderful people and a wonderful family and I've no doubt Willie and Monica shaped you that way.
