My sincere sympathy to Bridie and all the McCann family on the sad passing of Willie. Our paths crossed in Carlow when I got my first job working there with Irish Sugar. We shared many a laugh and he was always so helpful, even taking me to work during a few days of heavy snow because I was only a learner driver and he knew I was nervous of the snow. He never even held the fact that I was a Cork woman against me!! May he rest in peace.
