I am so shocked and saddened to hear of Willie’s untimely passing. I considered him a true friend when we worked in Dublin Corporation. (DCC) and we had many conversations and good laughs over the years.
I sincerely hope you all find the strength to deal with his loss.

We have only today heard the very sad news about Willie.I am so sorry Deirdre to hear about Willie who I knew socially and worked with in the mwhb and hse.He was a gentleman and I always enjoyed his company.He had a great sense of humour also.It is so sad and we send sincerest condolences to you and the family.

I want you to know that your Dad mattered, he counted for something, he stood for all that was good in Irish healthcare, he made a difference, much more than he ever knew. .He was the best friend any man could have, a great irreplaceable human being who saved my life on one occasion. Always be proud of him. I will share your loss for the rest of my life. .
