William (Wills) GROGAN

To the family I hope you take comfort in how much Willie was treasured. He never refused a job around the Civic Offices especially hanging a contraption for my hula hoop equipment. His love of cricket was strong but not as strong for his special daughter. Leaba i measc na naomh atá aige.

Willie was the loveliest gentleman who left an indelible mark in the hearts of those privileged enough to have met him. He was so kind and thoughtful with a marvelous sense of humour and he had that special ability to put a smile on everyone's face. He will be missed so much. In all my years working in FCC Blanchardstown, Willie was the one person that would always put you in good form. He was an amazing character with great banter. He was always so helpful and nothing was ever a problem. I enjoyed our conversations about all the different crime cases in Ireland over the years and we always had the opinion that we knew best what the verdict should be. Becoming a father was the making of him and he was so devoted to his family and not afraid to show it. I am deeply saddened at your passing Willie but I know that you will be very much loved in heaven. My deepest condolences to his family. He will be greatly missed and Blanchardstown will not be the same without him. May he rest with the Angels.
